A Unique Recipe App — Voice Controlled
Personal Project

In this project, I set out to solve a common kitchen challenge: navigating recipe apps with wet or dirty hands. The goal was to create an interface that stays readable and easy to interact with amid the chaos of cooking.
I began by surveying some users to understand their pain points. From the responses, I crafted two personas—Sarah, a student who wants quick and easy-to-follow recipes, and Mike, a developer looking for trustworthy sources and difficulty levels.
An empathy map helped me empathize with their frustrations, like accidentally tapping their device with messy hands.
From there, I mapped user flows and moved into wireframes, carefully choosing colors, typography, and layout to ensure usability under messy conditions. I then refined the design into high-fidelity prototypes that prioritize clarity and one-handed operation.
